I am a simple girl, who although likes choices ….when it comes to social networking sites …I say too many.

I have a hard enough time keeping up with this one and certain friends/family want me to do MySpace becasue that is where they are, or Facebook.  then there is LinkedIn that co workers are using that well I havent quite figured out the purpose of except for I was able to get in touch with an old coworker.  I dunno I am in information junkie that I think has hit overload, or well just doesn’t want to spend ALL my free hours behind a computer.  I do that enough for work!

During my little hiatus I have been out reconnecting with friends/family etc and it has been fun.  Doing new things, things I haven’t done in years and just having fun in general.  I even went on a few dates (or something to that effect ha ha) and of course the beach.  So while I will probably do the MySpace thing eventually so I can see the pictures and posts of those folks, I dont think I will be any better at keeping that site up than this one!

Well today I am off to do chores, hopefully hit the gym (geez do I need to get back into my routine, my ass is getting any smaller) and then on to Grandma Millie’s house to help load boxes up for her move back down to my Aunt’s house.  She just turned 89 and has decided that she doesnt want to live alone anymore …mostly the night bothers her.  So back to the Aunt’s.  My cousin is coming up with the truck so at least I get a fun family fix there.  Have mixed feelings with her moving but Mikey is closing on a house in a few weeks so at least there is plenty of room when I visit. 

I also have to screw around with the car …tires, wipers etc.

Man, it has been awhile!  I have been busy with work and play.  I just got back from NY a couple of weeks ago to spend time with the family and we went to Coney Island’s mermaid parade – what a blast.  working on cleaning up those pics and will post later

Good to be back …

Howdy from the Windy City!

I have been enjoying my time in Chicago since Friday.  I have mtgs today and tomorrow here but snuck into town early to hangout with the cousins from the mama side of the family.  This side is smaller in size and they live all over the country so really no need to number them like the New Yorkers

Anyway Marky Marky and his fun bunch had me entertained and spoiled all weekend.  Those bacheolor boys can cook and drink!  I didn’t have to lift a finger for 3 days …it was so nice. Totally spoiled by making sure I was warm enough, did I get enough sleep etc.  I got to shop – bought some cool boots.  Pimie, you will be jealous cause they are John Fluevog’s. We did the usual fun things, drink, hangout, watch some football, eat, went to an Improv place that was pretty good even if MM and the FB thought it was off night.  Oh Yeah, I have to come back.  I also spreaded some joy but helping our host out with his ipod woes and scored a hellacool CD of some weird music which will definetly be going on the toga party play list.  That’s right folks it is time for Beachy’s annual toga party.  I even bought some cool  fabric for this year’s festivities.  Her party kickoffs my Thanksgiving vacation week so needlsess to say I am looking forward to it.

Cough – cough – sneeze ….sorry just trying to clean the cobwebs and dust off my site and some of it went up my nose!

since I have last posted …
I have been busy traveling lots for work and pleasure, mostly work.   I have seen Acid and Pimie, spent plenty of Beach days with usual suspects (Beachy, nolegirl, sunshine etc).  Going to lunch tomorrow with Echo, ran down (OK really I drove) with crazy Weezy to Ft Myers and saw cousin Mikey for a little fun.  Found some cool art while there for my Key West room and bedroom.  Actually hired a lawn guy, pets are doing good, friends are great and supportive …yep, for the most part my days are great and my soul is at ease (guess the song that came from and you may win a prize).  I got people trying to convince me to Internet date, gotta get Weezy to do a presentation for you all on Date-a-poolza, she has some well thought out funny ideas, and thanks to the brainstorming of Beachy and Oatmeal, some good marketing hooks to boot!  I have also started working out pretty consistently and eating better etc.  Lost a few pounds and inches in the process.  Of course I don’t think it is fast enough …maybe I should cut down on the partying ha ha.

About the only annoying thing buzzing me like a pesky gnat or mosquito is a colleague at work that I seem to butt heads with at every  turn.  It has become very tiresome.  I just want to do my job man!  Maybe more on this later but I am trying very very very very hard here to take the high road.

HELLO ….Anyone out there?  It is me Baggy …trying to make a comeback!
I know I have been away but I am trying to get back into posting.  Like everyone else in this world, I have been just plain busy.

The gardening project – phase 1 is completed but now sorta stalled.  Got the ground covering in and the boys were fabulous and very helpful.  It was a long hot day.  however, now I need to weed and have not had time.  I am going to have to break down and get a lawn guy.  Starting to lose the pets in the backyard   it is a jungle out there.

The wedding in CO was beautiful.  Beachy’s bro and new bride looked awesome. Had a blast and enjoyed some local activities like hot air ballooning.  will try to put up some pics.  The 4th of July week was hysterical with a visit from cuz #4.  He was in town for client visits and we hung out when he had free time.  He likes drinking the whiskey too so needless to say we had tons of fun.  I definitely need to start my “visit the family in NY once a quarter” plan.  I have may to much fun hanging out with all of them to miss out.

Let’s see what else …work is still there – busy traveling – lots of trips to ATL this month …  Beachy is moving again.  Going to help her unpack today.  oh i am actually working out!  yeah, no kidding, i hope you all didn’t spit your drink/food out when you read that line.  Cuz#4 dragged my ass to the gym while he was here and in between his workout he gave me pointers on what I should be doing.  I am trying to be good and do the plan and so far, I have not strayed to much and I have been trying to eat better too.  I am giving myself to Aug 1 to recheck weight/measurements looking for improvement.  If I see none this is my designated day to whine like a baby and curse the whole work out pgm.    I know, something to look forward too

Woo Hoo Whiskey Wednesday!

Well I am not drinking yet but I love saying it!
1st Pimie and Martini the person coming back is Kay K.  Pimie you already know and Martini, you might not have been there when she was there…my memory is getting foggy on the comings and goings of staff.  I am thinking of leaving and coming back too LOL!

2nd getting really excited about Saturday’s gardening project.  Spoke with BAV#2 today and he was looking forward to the pizza so that is good.  I just hope he tells his mom  I called – teenage boys and message relaying – oxymoron or what?

that is about it for me – VERY busy at work, can’t keep up – relating strongly to The Who classic Drowned off of their Quadrophenia album.  If you don’t know it go listen, their best album ever.  Yes,  I said ALBUM cause I feel very nostalgic today

Phase 1A continues …

yeah yeah I know.  I have been talking about phase 1A of never mow my lawn again for weeks now.  But my friends today is a new day.  I have activated the BAV program.  Saturday morning BAV units #2 & #3 will be here to help me weed, mulch, finish getting my ground cover in and whatever else I can think of.  Did I mention they are Boy Scouts so the work ethic is there!  They will be in/out for an affordable fee, pizza, cokes and ice cream bars!  How can I go wrong.  Catlady will be on hand with an assist too ….oh yeah I am done messing around people.  I might actually go for the swamp roses in July/August.  Tackle the house painting and the backyard.  NO I AM NOT HIGH!  I know you are wondering . 
Crazy, yes!  Out of Control, prehaps.
