  • I am so hungry .... I think I am going to have to breakdown and actually go to the grocery store.  I have not done this is what seems like ages, forging off of canned soup, grilled cheese and leftovers from the holidays ....but I am out of bread!  Horrors.  I have to go to the store!  Not that!  Not that!

Yesterday at work was sooooo long.  It had to be the longest day of my life, and I even left early because my new bed came in!  Yes!  Score! Echo and her helpful teenagers met me at the store to pick up my new bed and get it to my house and setup.  It looks so nice - the hobbit bed is gone!  THANKS ECHO!  Will bring extra brownies for the boys on Monday night.

Today was a gorgeous day, even though I had all intentions of doing chores and being responsible - I was in luck and my good friends (Sunhsine & Beachy) called for a beach day.  It was really just what I needed from the long week of travel.  Friday night I ended up staying out much later than I had planned and frankly that didn't help the situation.  Last night started out with dinner with Beachy and some new friends and we ended up at some club near her house that had a live banded that played some great dark and twisty music and then during their breaks played hip-hop dance music.  I was entertained tremendously and I wasn't even drinking.  gotta love Beachy's new digs.  The band was actually pretty darn good.  Loud and cursing.  Good times.

    TTFN - happy weekend.

  • I hate going to the store, too.

    I . must . have . a . beach . vacation . soon. That's a really pretty pic. I'm jealous.

  • I have bitch days but never beach days! Dag!

  • Can I move in with you?

  • wow - can you believe we actually live here?

  • Remember, Campbell's Mmm Mmm Good!
ryc . . . haven't made the final travel decision for Friday . . . I imagine this trip would be out of my pocket and my pockets right now only have lint and crumbs in'm.  I'm very torn here.  LeBug is acting up really bad, I don't dare take it on a 225+mile drive these days.  I'm afraid it's going to be another costly visit to the shop for LeBug in the next couple of weeks.

  • oh how i wish i lived in florida! and yes, the grocery stores are particularly frightening on weekends. god help you if you are one of the few in there without kids. hope you survived it ok!

  • I wanna run away to your house!!!

  • I'm all about the 'dark and twisty' music! And i agree with them ^^^... your neck of the woods sounds so much better than mine! Maybe this cracker should take a trip! Hmmmm.... how far do you think I could get on 40 cents?
