I am back sorta

so much is going on.  the Dayonta 500 party was a BLAST.  We had some major drunk passed out folks.  good times!  OK so it sucks that my driver didn’t win but the ending was great.  Atlanta trip was good, last weekend we participated in Field day and I owned the greased watermellon carry …this week is just darn busy!

I haven’t taken any pics of my room yet but it turned out SO well.  thanks to my buds who helped on that hellish project.

I will try to take some pics this week and put up some of the field day pics although maybe Beachy has already done it?????  I can only hope.

Oh my …

Well last weekend I started painting my front room yellow.  Had a couple of friends helping me along the way (thank the sweet CBJ) and things are moving along well.  OK, tooooooo slow for me but I am impatient.  Oh and I spilled paint on the tile floor when I fell/slipped off the ladder.  Even that was OK because I wanted to paint the tile anyway …so all in all I should have pics up later of the new place.  We are goofy here and always name the different rooms of my house (not really sure how that started) so when done this will be the Key West room.

In other news/why I might not be posting regularly for the next week:
Sunday having a big Daytona 500 party – woo hoo go Dale Jr!
Monday/Tuesday – have to go to ATL for work
Hopefully get to see my cuz this weekend and my other one Tues since he will be down from NY
Grandma is having day surgery on Wed.

24hrs and counting ….so far no more mice – woo hoo. 

starting the painting projet tomorrow – that should be total chaos – can’t wait!  especially if some of my friends show up.  None of us really like painting, I see stories in the horizon!  The color was inspired by Key West, a nice shade of yellow.  The front room will now become a sun room – pretty pretty.

Why, because I can!  I bought an electric mouse trap and YES they do work.  Maybe because I live in FL I am partial to ole sparky but who cares I won.  Got one mouse with the old school trap and 1 mouse with ole sparky.  Hopefully there are no aunts, uncles and cousins! 

Next project, painting the front room …although I am taking help on that one if I can get it – painting sucks!

 GAME ON!  Die Sucker Die!

Oh yeah I have a friggin mouse in my house.  I of course do not know how to set traps so I asked my friend Puffer to show me.  After several trial runs, I got it.  Went home, set them and that little guy ate all the peanut butter and did not set off the dang trap!  WTF???  Oh it’s a war.  I reset that sucker before I left for work and I better see a dead thing when I get home.  Oh Puffer said he would come over and set it …no way.  Girl power damn it.  This mouse will not out smart me!  I write crappy rpts out of analytics for god’s sake (yes, Olive of course our Philly friend helps me!!!).  I have to deal with morons all day …I can do this!   That’s right it is a war.  And if that doesn’t work …well there is always this trap.  Happy Day to you all

Apparently I am still in Key West mode …

went out drinking Saturday night with some friends to forget all the “drama” and boy howdy did I succeed.  ah good times.  thank the sweet baby christmas Jesus (from now on referred to as SCBJ) that I always have some where to stay at Beachy’s!  as promised my favorite pic from Key West.  Hope you all have a good week and as soon as Beachy writes her spin on the trip …I’ll put up the link – ha ha ha

I am back…..barely!

The Key West trip was so great!!!!!  I had so much fun and damn there are plenty of stories to tell.  In honesty, I thought of all my xanga pals down there too – lots of pirate garb and tours for Cyrna, bands playing lots of Prince for Acid and Pimie, apparently I was wearing some type of glitter ala Sunshine and of course all those beautiful Harleys for RdKing – I even ran into some Canadians!

I was hoping that Beachy, Runny or Nolegrl would have posted by now so I could just link you all over but none of us has! 

I will try to post some stories later and get around to commenting on your all’s site.  Coming back to work was rough and with some personal drama thrown in I am way behind on everything.   Pics to come  Have a happy day
