Seems like I can only handle weekly postings …I am turning into a slacker!

I am currently at home waiting for Sears to drop off my new washer/dryer combo.  I have a very tight space in my house so I have one fo those combo stack deals.  My current one is almost 15 yrs old and it finally went kaput.  I am such a cheapy tho, I hate to part with the money to buy a new one but it didnt make sense to repair the old one to the tune of $500 bucks.  So I am here waiting for the guy.  It will be interesting to see if we can get the new one where the old one is.  more description on that later.

I am off to get the standing water out of the old washer before the guy gets here….

I know it has been a while! 

I have been standing on the platform deciding if I should jump onto the Crazy Train for a short trip, a loooonnnnggg trip or not one at all.  Just watch it pass until the next opportunity.  Things are busy.  Things are crazy.  I am sooo behind on checking on my xanga peeps but luckily for me some of you have checked on me – THANKS.

one problem i am having is not being able to sleep.  any suggestions out there?  i am watching the Daily Show right now and Jon Stewart is on fire so now I am even more awake.  Ugh!

quick story.  some know of Flat Stan, some know of the Traveling Gnome …now there is Wilbur the Traveling Pig.  Yes, Beachy and I have a traveling pig that has been very busy.  Pics to come ..REALLY!!!  How we got him – funny.  Was hoping she would blog about it but she is giving Biddy updates instead.

Edict,  Wilbur even made it to a Lighting Game the other night where we were victorious over the Islanders in OT.  Wilbur really wants to go to a NASCAR race, gotta work on that.

More later.  In Miami tomorrow, Beach on Saturday, Pub Crawl Sat Night, rescheduled Who Concert Sunday (that is another jacked up story!) and then Atlanta on Mon & Tuesday….

 in other news, I am still drowning in issues.  I got work stuff going on and a few personal things.  Work is really heating up and I should be working about 10-15 more hours a week to stay current but I am not …I am trying to do the whole work life balance – ha ha and on the personal front, I am working through some transitional issues for lack of a better word.  I need to take LofAvalon up on her help to meditate better.  My biggest accomplishment to date is that I am not getting to sucked into TV shows.  Trying to DVR what I can and then if I am not keeping up they get deleted.  The only thing I am watching right now is Idol of all things.  Those boys are not doing well.  Off to the showers.
