Back on schedule ...

that's right - it is Friday so I took the day off!  Yes!  back on my not-so-secret-secret plan.  Loads to do today which include the stinky turtle tank mentioned in last post.  Also have a bunch of running around downtown to do, drop of dry cleaning, maybe make a Macy's run for a new outfit for my Dallas (work) trip next week.  hmm.  so much to do so little time.   I have two friends moving today/this weekend who both want a little of my time so I will have to work that in somehow as well.  One has a bunch of stuff oh and heavy stuff.  One has down scaled so much I think we can do her move in 3 car trips!  She has decided to junk most stuff or give to her daughter who is looking for a condo and start fresh.  A lot to be said for that.  I can't wait to see her new place.  It is a cute 1 bedroom studio type in one of our quasi-historic sections of town.

Next week is slammed with being in Dallas for 3 days ...but then I think I can get back to normal.

Tomorrow is suppose to be beautiful so I will be meeting beachy for our Weekly Beach Day.  woo hoo.  We will have to pick our beach carefully since there is a breakout of red tide in the area.  Luckily, we have our 2 favorite snack shacks on speed dial so we can get a good report without having to drive to and fro up and down the gulf.

Happy Monday Folks ...

I am 1/2 way through the day - yipee!  I already have ants in my pants ...want to get home to get started on some projects.

The weekend was nice and relaxing - had a nice beach day with Beachy and Sunny.  Then I showed Beachy how to download ringtones to her phone - that was fun and consumed about 2 hours of our time as she carefully picked different ringtones for different people.

So far I have been pretty happy with all the TV shows ...I am just to lazy to blog about them right now

Question - how do you get a new QB for your 0-3 Bucs?  Let hime play with a ruptured spleen AND then take him to the hospital for surgery!  conflicting reports on when he will be back.  Our season is toast!.

Boy is it tight on the McDreamy vs McVet dilemma.    Now I have to say according to the article beachy passed on, McVet is only is 6 episodes.  But dang it, they could be really 6 HOT episodes towards the end of the season for another cliff hanger!  I agree with Kelly, I am still boo hooing over Denny and Izzy.  Well Dinner and Grey's viewing will be totally fun tomorrow night over at Beachy's.  The best part, so far I have gotten out of bringing anything over other - ha ha!

Now what about Desperate Housewives???  Again, according to same mag referenced above, the writers from the 1st season are back so we are all supposed to be pleased as punch.  Bree is going to marry some crazy dentist - that should be funny.

alright off to watch the stuff I DVRed last night that I couldn't get to ...that show Smith with what's his face in it that played the Irish mobster guy...yeah I suck at entertainment news/names. 

RockinRollClass- I was a little disappointed in Boston Legal last night, thought it was slow in some places and over the top in others ...what do you think?

Turning into a total TV Junkie ...

Very exciting that the new season is upon us.  Boston Legal starts tonight - woo hoo - where is VG when I need her???  She and I just laugh over this show.  and of course Thurs is the big season opener of  Dr McDreamy thursday ...big bash over at Beachy's that night.  Dinner and a show, what more could a girl ask for????

There is a rift in the office over who Meredith should pick McDreamy or McVet ...what is your opinion?  True love with a spouse (McDreamy) or a chance of happiness but maybe just not as steamy (McVet) ...either way she will probably be damaged and the drama will continue all season.  I am more interested in what happens with Izzy.  The magazine that Beachy lent me hints that she stays on the show but not in the same capacity ...what?  how does that work???  she goes back to modeling???  The Christina/Burke storyline is interesting too.

Geez, drop me your opinion before I sound like a total nerd ...I mean I know I need a life but sweet 6lb baby Jesus, just think if I got started on Desperate Housewives?????

Hi Ho, Hi Ho, It is off to work we go!

Since I have been dreading Monday's lately, I thought a nice AM fake out with music and cheeriness will help[ jump start the day ... so far so good, but I have not made it to the office yet ha ha ha.  Will update you later on if this system worked.  Busy week ahead, doing some dog walking/watching to help a friend out while she is out of town on biz.  They are these cute little balls of fluff ...maybe I will take a pic for posting later.  I mean they are not as cute as my dog but they are adorable in their own way.

oh yeah - my Bucs suck this year!  thank goodness I was able to divert my attention from that crappy game to the race.  As usual we need a friggin QB and some offense and well ...if I think about it anymore I will be in a bad mood!

Happy Sunday ...

Just waking up, eating some oatmeal, starting laundry - doing by morning routine. 
Have been emailing back and forth with dramagirl and she was telling me that her son is starting soccer.  He is 5.  I thought that was early but she goes on to tell me that he could have started at 3 or 4!  Holy cow!  That seems early to me.  I don't have kids (well only the 4 legged variety) so what the heck do I know.  I know it is a common thing to do but how do you know they really like it?  At least his schedule isn't crazy yet - just once a week and the game is during the week vs. 4am on a Saturday morning.  My hats to all you parents out there who are involved like this in your kids life and their activities.  I plan on being a good Auntie and show up for some of the games.  Gotta do my part!

Planning on watching the race later - woo hoo the Chase begins.  Have a great day all

Yes!  I am off today and back on track with my "take every Friday off" plan.  I got a few things on tap today, mostly errands and such so I can of course hangout at the beach tomorrow if at all possible.  I am curious to see if the snack shack peeps can remember by name 2 weeks in a row.

Anyway, I was getting a little concerned that I might be turning into a slacker since my new goal in life is the take every friday off for the rest of my life plan or "TEFOFTROMLP"  but I found this helpful quiz below and realize, nope I am good!  I am just using this time to plan better ...yeah that's it.

I am just now starting to wind down from my disappointment of who won Rockstar SuperNova.  Yep, Stephy girl sucked me into this show and I am damn disappointed that Lukas won.  WHATEVER! Dalana was soooo much better.  Lukas is a wanna be glam rocker ...hmm maybe that is why I scored so low on that test.
