Post #1 - Home Ownership Joy
I got home yesterday from work to water all over the kitchen floor. Something is wrong with the fridge/freezer. Wah! So a repair guy will be here between 10am-1pm today. Luckily not to much in the freezer that I will have to cook Also last night at about 2am the firm alarm thinggie started beeping to let me know that it needs a new battery. It is right outside my bedroom door and it beeps about every 10 mins ...annoying! It takes some weird size too ....the bright side is that whatever is wrong with the fridge didn't start a fire - ha ha
Last night it actually turned cool here in FL - glorious! It was great sleeping weather and well it is "just right" Sunny and cool during the day but not frigid and cold at night but again, not frigid like our friends to the north. It should be 80 again by Saturday - lovely!!!!
Well, I am off to dig out my laptop and start working from home. The vote went through last Saturday so after Thursday's national vote of volunteers our new affiliate will be official and comprise of 6 states and Puerto Rico. It will be the biggest affiliate in our company. New sr managment and staffing structure is yet to come. Everyone is getting antsy so I am hoping the announcements come soon.

Sounds like there's a lot going on over there....good luck with the repairman...I had the same thing happen with my old ass fridge....it stopped making ice, which I thought was no big deal...next thing i know water all over the kitchen...but my repair got it all fixed up for under two hundey(that would be a Figgieism)...
The weather sounds lovely. I have been to Florida on several occassions and it is a great place to visit, but I can't seem to find any urge to live there. Maybe it's all the old people in the greater Orlando area. Although I do love South Beach, maybe I could live in Miami.
Working from home is key to getting a lot of work done sometimes because you can stay in your pajamas (nothing but comfort baby), keep your hair out of your face (you know what I mean) and have NO interruptions!!!!!! And when the weather is like this, you can actually see it and feel it working at home w/ the windows open!
