Moving stories - Part 1 (mabye 1 of 1 ha ha)

got Beachy's junk all out to her new beach place.  ClearEcho and her boys helped - they are a riot.  Her bro, future sis-in-law and I are all going back out there sometime later to help her unpack and setup the furntiure. Beachy is currently waiting for the cable guy and the rest of us are all resting/pet duty.  today is absoultely GORGEOUS.  The sun is shining so BRIGHT and she is now so so CLOSE to the BEACH it was hard for me to concentrate at some points.  off to sit on my porch and enjoy the weather - hope all is well with you guys!

Post Happy Holidays ...

I have ended up being much busier that I thought I would be with the holidays.  I did in fact have a birthday miracle, even though beachy and I actually ate lunch in the rain under an umbrella at the snack shack, they skies did clear, the sun came out for about an hour or so and we got in some quality beach time.  Yeah so it got a little blustry there at the end but it did not rain again until we departed.

Then the Christmas miracle occured ...the Bucs won a game - followed by good times, food an booze at my house that xmas eve.

Christmas day was interesting ...ended up at a movie that night.  Saw The Good Shepard. It is the story of how the CIA was created.  Was intresting but on the dark and twisty side.

Yesterday my cuz showed up with his girlfriend so I have been hanging out, catching up.

Today/tomorrow Beachy will be moving to her new place back out on the beach with a BBQ planned for Saturday already to break the new place in.

Happy Birthday to me - is  a brithday mircacle -

it is suppose to be cloudy, raining and an alround miserable day.  However I awoke to blue skies and a shining sun ...OK really partly cloudy but I will take it.  Gonna do a few chores and then I think I am off to the beach.    I hope the weather holds out.  A friend of mine is having some crazy party at a tavern downtown that I might check out with Beachy.  As Millie would say "gonna see what the day brings"  I already got to open up some hellacool gifts (thanks Acid, Beachy, Sunny, LT, dramagirl and of course dear old mom) oh and earlier in the week I saw one of my sis-in-laws and she gave me a light up dale Jr pen.  sweet.

Monday Monday  ...

just 4 more days now until I have a week off - woo hoo!  today's highlight was our department's little holiday get togehter.  It was good times and good food.  My morning was productive and then ...people had to mess up a good thing.  Have you ever noticed that when change is happening or a "transition" it seems that what was once someone's job is now no one's job?  Yep got me a big load of that this afternoon.  Oh and I was suppose to do something about it.  Whatever.  Luckily Acid has my back ..even if it is only to bitch with - ha ha 
Just got to learn to roll with the punches I suppose.

Yestreday I went to Clear Echo's open house - good times man.  I was the DD so I got to witness friends get totally blotto and was able to tease them about it today.  Yep good times.  I took a few snaps with my new super cool itty bitty camera.  as soon as I get the cradle hooked up I will upload a few.

A Day of Nothingness ...

My crappy week finally caught up with me today.  I have done nothing but lay around watch TV and nap.  To lazy to even go to the beach.   To lazy to read ...the book is heavy!  While it has not been exactly a "pity day" it is close.  Off to do something constructive ...maybe.

I am I am sooooooooo sleepy!  I can barely keep my eyes open.  I have not been sleeping well and my two new staffers are in town for mtgs so I have been busy entertaining and such.  They are such good additions to the team - very exciting.

Tuesday's BBQ dinner and Livia visit went well.
Still need to wrap presents and send out the xmas cards
Beachy found her new place out at the beach - she is moving in the day or two after xmas so since it is my bday month I am hoping we celebrate her new home/my bday with a beach style pub crawl.  One can only hope.

Another day in paradise ...

well got the ornaments on the tree, but that was it.  Beachy called, she and H were going to the beach so ....I had to go.  I mean gosh that's what friends do and all.  Anyway have not done anything else ....want to read instead but I must get my ass in gear since I have some people coming over Tuesday night for dinner and well let's face it, she is really coming to meet Livia (the pig)

now everyone ...say like Captain Kirk "Must ...get ... motivated... Must ...not ....sit .... and ...do....nothing ....must .... not.... talk ... on ...phone ....must ...not ...xanga....must ....clean .... house ....must ....make ...grocery ...list ...so ...we ...can ...eat...."

Today was a good day. 

Made it out of bed.  Only checked my work email once.  Helped Beachy look for a new place (she is looking back at the beach..woo hoo)
Played with the pets ...just a fine day.  hope yours was as well.

Now if I could only finish decorating my tree

Thank the sweet 8lb 6oz Christmas Baby Jesus that it is Friday.
That's right folks Talladega Nights Movie comes out next week on DVD ...so be prepared for more stupid references.

Not quite questioning my entire life but pretty close.  A longer recap over the weekend when I have time.

In the meantime, I am off to the salt mines, going to help Beachy look for a new place this weekend, finish putting up my xmas decorations.  Wrap my presents (yes, I am done shopping) and then find some mind clearing/recharge activity to do.  It is freakin cold here and very windy this morning and I think it is to be like this the entire weekend too ...hmmm what to do?  Suggestions??
